I’ve been sewing for 12 years and truly love incorporating the art of appliqué into the clothing I design. I love picking up beautiful *spendy* high thread count quilt shop fabrics when I travel and when I shop local. I also use many sustainable fabrics. I save all my scraps to recycle when I can. ;) All fabrics are prewashed to prevent shrinkage and all seams are straight stitched, serged and top stitched where necessary. All appliques are fused, satin stitched tightly tied off several times ensure durability.
I've been designing jewelry for 14 years, I love mixing up textures and colors. Each bead is carefully chosen to fit the piece being created. High quality materials are used, ie., genuine stones, sterling silver, glass. I love macramé as well as beading.
I put my all into everything I create. ;)
I'm truly inspired by my husband Donnie who's constantly supporting my arts and my beautiful son Camden who consistantly reminds me to be myself in a world that's trying to make me like everyone else.
